Wonga Update on Mortgage

Hello, just a quick question I'm currently applying for a mortgage and have had payday loans in the past, the loans are over 2 years ago however I recently got a default removed by Wonga however that has meant when I look at my report it says that Wonga have update it 2 months ago, the settlement date is still 3 years ago but I'm worried the bank will see the new updated date and think I have applied or something?

    That in itself shouldn't be an issue however I'd ensure you use a lender that doesn't have a strict policy on pay day loans.

    Hi David its with HSBC and I check with them before I applied for the agreement in principle, they said as long as they were settled and there was no defaults and non in the last 12 months, Is this typical from HSBC or are they likely to decline it? I have submitted the full application and had the full credit check and they have asked for the supporting documents.
