Hi.
Apologies if this has been posted before! Due to family problems I need to sell up and move ASAP has anyone had any experience with a quick sell company? Are they too good to be true? I'd appreciate any help.

They will not pay full price , typically 70% of market value at bestEx forum ambassador

Unfortunately I've only ever heard bad things about these companies. Firstly they won't pay full market value but secondly, more than anything they are prone to dropping their offer price right at the point if exchange when you're nearly done and desperate.
You might be better off going for an auction, or pricing competively for a quick sale.
Depending on what the issues are with needing to move quickly you may find assistance from your lender. They may give you a payment holiday or let you switch to interest only or something.

Probably worth a chat with local estate agents to ask at what sort of price they could sell quickly to a cash buyer.0

We had one come and look at ours. It is on the market for 95K and they offered 75k. We turned them down. Do your research.0

Thanks! I knew they would offer less than the market value, didn't think it was as low as 70% though! I'll speak to an estate agent and cross my fingers that it sells quickly.0

If you set the right price you can sell anything very quickly. Using an estate agent will get you the best price but an auction will get you a better price than using a quick sale company. Quick sale companies often turn out to take ages and rip you off. Read some of the threads on this forum, very bad stories.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Time is money so dont expect the market value on normal sale. Thats not an issue.
