Renewing mortgage deal with Santander - when does new product expire?

Hi,
My mortgage with Santander is in two parts.
The fixed rate on Part 1 ends 3/9/2018; the fixed rate on Part 2 ends 3/9/2016.
Obviously I will get a new 2 year deal on Part 2.
Now, I'm aware of two things...
1. As Part 2 is due for renewal within 4 months I can start the process of renewing it (e.g. selecting the product I want) now.
2. Sometimes in the past I have had letters from Santander, when a loan has been close to the product end date, to say that I can switch to another of their products now without fees.
My question, in either of those scenarios, is when will the new fixed rate end?
Obviously I want a product that ends as close to 3/9/2018 as possible.
If I select a two year fix now, will that end two years from now, or two years from when the rate starts?
If I'm allowed to move onto a new product early, would a two year fix end two years from when that starts?
Or do all Santander products end on 3/9 and the "two" in "two year fix" is approximate?
Thanks,
Jim

Does anyone have any ideas on this?0

I'll take that as a no, then. Fair enough.
I'll have to give them a call. Oh joy!0 -
In case anyone's interested, I phoned them up.
Actually spoke to someone who knew (or seemed to know, at least!) what he was talking about.
The end of the fixed rate depends on when you book the product rather than when it starts.
To get a fixed rate expiring at the start of September I need to organise it at the end of June.0
