Hi all, had a debt collection letter from Cabbot financial today for my mrs.
they seem to have plucked some random numbers from thin air.
my other half had a simply be account fell behind and told me about it just after they defaulted it almost 2 years ago I agreed with cabbot U would pay 20 quid a month to clear the debt for her.
I thought it was all don with then today out of the blue I received a letter stating the account still owed 73.10
all the dates on the letter in the statements all say todays date,
Cabbot have said 04/03/2016 I made a payment.. no money left my bank accounts that day to them
02/02/2016 I made a payment apparently No money left that a account..
the same all the way through to September last year I apparently had made payments.
but straight after all of those dates, Cabbot have 20.00 debit for the last 3 months.. meaning i apparently owe them money, hmmm i'm pretty pee'd off to be fair I'll be making a complaint and sending a provit letter to them. I just wanted to have a rant about it.. I checked the other halfs credit file and can see a default listed against her by them which I am going to challenge as no paper work came through etc.
