Hi,

Do I have any chance for finance if I`m director/shareholder of Limited Company established from 8th of December 2015. (not home owner).
I`m after curtain side/tail lift VAN, 10k.

It`s too big amount for StartUp loan. Any another hope for me?

Only the lender can tell you, but unlikely you'd get 100% loan. You could see if the vendor will lend against the van you're buying (some kind of rent-to-buy scheme?), as without significant assets banks may not take interest.

If you've a deposit of say 25% you might find more willing lenders against the logbook?

If you lease the van in the company name it can become a company expense instead.

You could borrow the money as a personal loan then lend it to your company. That would make you personally liable for the money.

It's very unlikely a bank will lend to a company that has an effective book value of almost zero.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

I have 25-40% of deposit. Where I should find the lender?
Just ask Barclays, Lloyds, etc or some special lender?

And I have very good/effective book value :) But nobody want under 3 years LTD.

you were given help in posts 2 and 3...not sure what other alternatives you are after
have you spoken to your own bank? they can see all your income and outgoings and see what is affordable
    have you looked at leasing?
If you were expecting someone here to offer you a loan of £10k, you have misunderstood what the forums do

There are a lot of vehicle finance companies that will assist a new start business (less than 3 years trading) with a non-home-owner director provided you have clear personal searches and at least 3 years trace.

Does the dealer not have a finance option available?

Close Motor Finance, Motonovo, to name but two. There are a number of others and without knowing more information (not suitable for sharing on a public forum), I cannot recommend any particular finance company.
