  • I had given up on Sweet Collect and after numerous emails which they ignored forgot all about my package of sweets. And then one day out of the blue (about 6 months after the sweets were picked ready for dispatch), they finally turned up.Wouldnt bother again though.

The UK sweetcollect has been sold off. That's why every one is suddenly receiving all their sweets. Point stop is the re-branded version of SC by it's new owners. Time will tell if it's any good. My wife had to wait 10 months for her 1st sweet package but after that she was getting them every 3-4 months, which kept the kids happy.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
  • I used to find them pretty good - but it took over a year to get my last pack off them and it was very short on what was supposed to be in there - a complete waste of time - but yes when the bags eventually arrived the kids liked it!

Haven't you heard of "throw away" email accounts?

Of course I have now, but I was not so smart when I first went online! We are not all instant experts!
