Entitlement Agency

in Cutting tax
A relative of mine has unfortunately signed up by mistake to the Entitlement Agency who got her son a tax rebate, she thought that their website was a official revenue site and of course they charged her a % of the total reclaimed. She of course recognises her mistake but it now turns out that she has signed over her sons tax affairs to the Entitlement Agency till 2020 ?
Does anybody know if this is possible and if so how can she get out of this ? Her son is a student and expects to get Tax rebates for several years ?
Thanking anyone who can assist here.

If he keeps on top of his tax details - makes sure his tax code is correct so excessive tax isn't deducted etc etc - then that will help, there is no particular reason a student would need to claim rebates each year.
It is a myth student tax is any different to the rest of the population.
He can also write go the HMRC and advise them that he no longer wants that company to act on his behalf.
Not sure about the 2020 business though, what exactly has he signed?0
