Hi again folks - this will be my final post regarding this. Thought i would finish it off with final details.

As i last posted, the pension folks said they would get someone to call us back - we waited around a full day, and I'd had enough and decided to call them back and find out just who could help us.

Anyhow, the person we spoke to, told us the last person we spoke to shouldnt have told us what they did - as even if someone called us, they couldnt do anything about it. So, they did as I've read on here - 'pushed it through to their manager (or whoever) by email, to force the letter out'.

Finally got the letter today and lump sum is as calculated pretty much by folks on here, just over 26k. So regular basic pension plus a little bit, plus lump sum. Just about sorted (well, final hurdle).
