Yeah it does Mila because I won't receive sick pay. Ill end up rushing back to work to ensure I earn money. I'm going to maybe enquire about doing some night shifts in the hope that they aren't too busy and as heavy as days.
Tonight I'm off out for a meal with friends as it's ones leaving do. I haven't seen them in a while so I'll buy her a card and maybe a bottle of wine or something. I'm sure I'll figure it out.
I just wish I had an operation date. It's the unknowing that bothers me as I feel I can't plan anything. I'm having great anxieties about August too as it will be a very busy month.
A close relative is getting married. I'm a bridesmaid. I don't even know what to get them for a present. They've asked for money but I feel a bit reluctant to do this in a way due to personal reasons. It sounds horrible but I think I'd rather get them something for when they move into their marital home. I like personal gifts. They'd most likely blow any money they're given on rubbish- I know it's their choice but this is two people who are in humongous amounts of debt yet they still spend as if they live an extravagant lifestyle. I don't think they'll ever learn.
So I'm working a 9 till 3 today. I've a few things to do.
- Input travel expenses.
- Print off workbook.
- Arrange to get my training signed off.
- Enquire about a training course/work book.
- Speak to team leader about position possibly coming up at team closest to me.
- Make someone smile.
- Take DS to ice skating. Weathers rotten today. So I'll most likely drive. Plus he is doing 3 hours continuous today. Well he has a small break in between.
I really need to sit down and re look at my budgets for next two months and see what I can pay off/save.
I plan to put money into one account for DS birthday. I'll budget £250 maximum. This is the final big birthday he's having, he'll be 6.
Set aside £180 for car tax.
Plan my birthday (June).
Make a basic itenary of what I'd like to do in London. We go next Saturday for a week.
I can't think of much else to be honest.[STRIKE]superhero.[/STRIKE]

I've been awol for a few days.
My pay this month has been alot lower than expected, so I'm feeling quite anxious I'm unable to save much due to my outgoings.
I've combined my total income for the next month which is- £1493.00
My outgoings are as follows.
Definite (Direct debits)
Rent- £200
HTB Isa: £200
Car: £204.48.
Credit card: £200
Phone: £24.99
Insurance: £6.99
Denplan: £9.99
Union: £8.20
Budgeted:
Food: £80
Petrol: £80
Sons activities: £300.
The budgeted section is where I can save some extra money possibly. I guess I've already saved £200 in my help to buy isa so I shouldn't worry too much but it's been a definite drop in income in many ways.
We also have a trip to London for a week from Saturday.
Sometimes I think stuff it, live for the moment. But I like having money just incase. It's going to be an expensive summer. I'm going to have to up my hours and maybe do some nights to bring in extra. And build up another reserve fund. Then maybe I can take a back seat.[STRIKE]superhero.[/STRIKE]

I'm back after some time away and some serious thinking. I feel like I'm being too harsh on myself just lately regarding money. I need to learn to relax.
My current debt stands at: £1200 on a credit card which is 0%. This will be down to £1000 at the end of June, as a minimum. It may be more yet.
We're off to London tomorrow for a week. I haven't set a budget of what I'd like to spend. I just wish to enjoy myself with my son and my sister whom we are visiting.
I've booked my sons birthday. I just need to pay a deposit to the entertainer which is only £10. I'll do that later on.
Once we're back home next week after our London trip I'm going to look at doing some overtime and put this money to one side (paid weekly). I'm going to create a car fund, holiday fund and birthday/Christmas fund.
August is going to be my most spendy month:
Car tax- £180
Car insurance: £450
Sons birthday party: £300 budgeted- his last big one and will be doing most things myself.
By end of September I need to find £500 for our trip to lapland.
My DS is off on holiday with his dad in August. I intend to use this week to work long hours and build my fund back up. I'll do this either by doing nights or long days.
I'll come up with a plan eventually. I'm rambling now.[STRIKE]superhero.[/STRIKE]

No, your not rambling. Your just putting your good ideas and plans into writing. They make total sense.
Have a stupendous time with your family in London!!!!!!! Make memories and take pictures.Overprepare, then go with the flow.
