Splitting with partner, how do i proceed?

Just wondering if anyone could help answer a few questions. Me and my partner are not married but are now seperating. I have no idea on what steps i should first take. Any help anyone has would be really appreciated.

    Is your question related to a mortgage? do one of you intend to live in the property? are they able to remortgage to the value in their sole name?
