Can I buy a M&S physical gift voucher with a M&S gift card?

I recently got £100 for signing up with M&S bank. I don't shop at M&S so wish to monetize the voucher in some way.
Can you buy physical M&S gift vouchers such as card or plastic cards and pay for them with a M&S gift card?
The M & S gift card I have is registered to me and gets regular monthly top ups via the bank account so need to purchase a transferable gift voucher ideally that I could maybe stick on Ebay or sell to a friend a but cheaper.

No I don't think you can.
Couldn't you use it in the food department? Or drinks?travelover0 -
I've done the other way around, ie, "cosolidating" a new gift card to an exisiting one. What they did was to top up one gift card and charge to the other one. So i think it might/should work. You need to do this in a bigger store, not a Simple Food.0

Nothing in the t&cs to say you cannot do this.

I had an e gift printed out and they put it on a gift card for me in a simply food branch.0 -
I had some paper gift vouchers partner got for doing surveys, I gathered them up & bought a wedding theme plastic gift card with the total. It was no problem. just told the assistant I wanted something more appropriate to give to the couple.______________________________________0

I think the OP wants to do this the other way around (card to paper vouchers).
I'm not sure if you can OP but I doubt you'd get any grief for asking a cashier instore at the till. If I were worried about being refused I'd possibly make conversation with the cashier before and then it becomes harder for them to act as a jobsworth and turn you down on principal. (I say this with experience in both sides of the table!)0 -
I suppose asking them if I can buy a plastic gift card (using my own plastic gift card) would make sense as my own gets topped up every month and is uniquely linked to my account.
In the link kindly posted by PoppyOscar, gift cards are not in the list of exclusions.
We only have a Simply Food in my town and no other M & S near really, I am sure I have seen some gift vouchers in the food store though.
Could I perhaps do this online, will a gift card work as payment on that?0 -

I've exchanged a couple of £10 gift cards and paid £20 cash to make one £40 gift card.
If they say you can't exchange a gift card for a voucher, ask if you could add another £1 or 2 to it?0
