woolwich deed store

I had a similar problem to Chris. I gave up trying to ring the freephone number and it's multi menu option
so simply wrote to Barclays Woolwich, 41 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich, London, SE18 6ET.
A couple of weeks later the deeds arrived in the post by special delivery from the Leicester address.
Mortgage Loan Services, P.O. Box 8575, Leicester, LE18 9AW. What a result and free of charge.
Everything was there even back to the original sale of the land in 1869. Possibly would have been qiucker if I had contacted Mortgage Loan Sevices direct but I'm not complaining. Hope this helps. Good luck.
