Moving house expense on DMP

Hello,
My husband and I are on a DMP and it's been such a breath of fresh air being able to afford food! However.. We live in rented accommodation and we were forced to move because our landlord had not been paying his mortgage and the house was being repossessed.
We found a house and moved within 3 weeks (moved in 1 week ago) as I didn't want to be homeless with my family however as a result the moving costs were somewhat unexpected. We had to shell out for van hire, new tenancy fees etc so it has left us fairly short this month.
Our DMP is with stepchange and they been great but is there anything they can do to help? I am really worried about rocking the boat as everything was going really well. I'm not sure what to do.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
We have made our DMP payment for this month.
Thanks

    Hi

Discuss your situation with Stepchange as it should be possible to make reduced payments for a while. You’ve had an emergency situation and incurred costs beyond your control so it’s perfectly understandable. People have changes of circumstances all the time and the creditors will have seen it all before.

I've had experience of making reduced payments and it's ok, the world doesn't cave in. Just decide how much you need to budget for and talk to SC, they understand life still goes on despite a DMP.
