Do I wait for a late deal or book at a select or saver price for a two week cruise in the med with P and O ?

I've never cruised before but I'm definitely going later this year and as much as I have researched already I do find it all rather confusing. I have read a lot of comments on here recently and I'm still not sure what to do?

Any advice will be much appreciated thanks.
