..., not the best place to store the tray of rhubarb either, it is blocking the door to your stash :D.

    Anon

I would get shot if I put any stash in there Anon, that is Mr TS's domain, that is why the tray of veg is waiting outside for him to deal with. ;)

I am allowed to put whoopsied fruit and veg in there though. :D

Mmm, I have a slightly different viewpoint on his appeal:(

By the way, is PD still around? I miss her cake-related escapades:)

I am indeed, albeit from a Sheffield hotel room. How's you? :)

Very true that Anon, but I thought everyone to their own. If someone wants to store rhubarb in the centre of the floor, who am I to comment ;):D

Strategically placed for the photo shoot of course.

Thanks TM, the sink is really deep I've not gotten used to it yet.

The cooker has a lift up glass lid so hopefully we don't need a splash back. I know it does look a bit odd without continuing through but just that one bit from one side to the other would have meant a lot more expense because of the size of the granite slabs. We managed to get all we wanted out of the one slab including the matching windowsills in the old and new larders.

If we find we need something there we might have to find something cheaper that is completely contrasting and maybe make a feature but going to see how it goes with use. Nothing is ever perfect is it. ;)

I think it looks wonderful, perfect. Enjoy your new kitchen x

Reindeer girl and DS2's relationship ended...... afterwards she told him that she will miss me most
    Well, who wouldn't?:)
.. they are meant for each other (both very clever, but no common sense between them!).
Ah, common sense is a very overrated virtue amongst today's youth:D
we have decided to just get drunk!
and I applaud that course of action:T

Lovely kitchen, no offence intended - I have missed by being a smart Alec, what wood is it please?

    Many thanks

    Anon

Thanks Anon. The cabinets are made of oak with reclaimed pine shelves inside. The kitchen and larder doors are oak veneer, the table is solid oak too, I can't move it.

Have you tried using an ecloth ? I wipe my surfaces down with this and it comes up brilliantly. No watermarks or streaks to be seen. It was recommended to me by my kitchen fitter

No I haven't, I have got some 20p microfibre clothes from Sainsbobs was going to give these a go now all the dusty work is done.

Will look into ecloth though thanks x
