 Blimey, you will be asking for lunch next. You only have to lay the laminate you know, not chop the trees down and produce it too!!

TS, the kitchen is lovely. I love the little sink, the wood, the doors and flooring. Are you having a splash back near the cooker?

I also hate to have two doors to open to get to use the washing machine/dishwasher (but I would be lost without the dishwasher).

Thank you so much TM, I've just had a message telling me they were here for me to collect :D

I've had X-rays and blood tests done on Wednesday, I had to go straight to hospital from doctors surgery. Results were sent through yesterday.

No signs of a blood clot, kidneys are fine but I do have my third chest infection in 18 months plus I also have pleurisy. I'm in lots of pain in back, right hand side and front ribs but have been given 2 lots of medication. It should take 3 to 4 weeks to clear completely. I will be back before then.

tweets has kindly said she will pass messages to post for me as I'm struggling somewhat.

Thank you for all the good wishes you fabulous lot xx

    Bye for now X

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Well my guess it will ""offend"" some people .... It's a disgrace that in

In 2016 we are being knuckled down to not upset any other religion

I mean the Queens birthday where is the harm in that

Whilst the people of other religions will not knuckle down to what is our right to celebrate birthdays etc

If our traditions upset them that much why don't they build and fund their own schools
Or just ignore it if they don't like it .....as there is plenty of things I don't agree with in different religions and countries but I do not protest about them ..I accept that people are entitled to their own opinions

Do you think these countries would not celebrate their traditions if we lived in their countries and it offended us

Now I am not wishing to upset any religion from Catholics to buddists

and all the rest of the religions

But we need to get a back bone and put a stop to all of this and Happy Holidays for Xmas

We don't protest when other religions want to celebrate their traditions
And we should uphold all of our traditions and ceremonies after all

we do have a Lady as our head of state and long may she rule

    Happy Birthday Philip

    Happy Birthday to our Queen

How many people on here will wish our Lizzie and Phil a Happy Birthday

Let's see how many like this post or how long before the post is removed because my opinion offends

Pressing the button then running for cover

I agree and don't run for cover.

My DGD's school had a non uniform day today, to celebrate the Queen;s birthday. All other religious festivals are celebrated (with samples of whatever it is celebrated with, food or abstinence) as we have a diverse culture, which is good as it makes us aware/tolerant of other cultures. They do not celebrate Christmas, in case it offends. I feel that is wrong. Sorry, I do not want to offend anyone by my comments and hope that they are taken in the way that they are intended.
