You have no Greggs!!! It must be very posh - we even found Greggs in KeswickI don't envy you organising us all, worst than herding cats :rotfl:
No it's not posh we used to have one but it closed down. There is a little outlet at the spar garage but it out of town.
It'll be a piece of cake :rotfl:0 -
And the tickets are a gob smacking price £26 on the gate or £21 in advance so my only hope is to win some - I really really love going to Tatton but paying £52 for 2 of us, don't even think OH is that keen - the MSE side if me says I could buy loads of plants for £52 from B&M 3 for £5 selection or Morrisons cottage garden plants etc ...
Fingers crossed I can win some
I've never been to a proper full blown flower show but have always watched things like Chelsea on the tv...I got quite into it this year as coincidentally I have a friend with a major connection to one of the gardens featured this year so I have followed and seen quite a lot about the behind the scenes and setting up etc.
I dont think my 2 would have much of a desire to visit a flower show but had we not been busy I did wonder if a fleeting solo visit might have been achievable with an overnight stay.
Although if I see any competitions or you want to let me know about them mhoc...I'll gladly enter in the hope of also winning you a couple of tickets.....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Good morning:)
It's not quite carling on my phone but on other phones in the nerf house it's asking me to update but won't and I cant play carling on the phones:eek:
Mines the same, even though I updated it on the 6 JuneI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Also the Soreen Apple & Sultana that was newly on the list on Monday - I couldn't find them in any store yesterday, didn't expect to tbh and I am thinking that might be a pretty rare item in M (probably numerous stock but at very few stores so you know what I mean:rotfl:). So that might well be an APG n/a. I would think it would still be £1 in M itself though, as I only found it on Monday (no doubt in someone's store where it's been for months:rotfl:) and the other £1 Soreens have not had a price change.
Also, the Birds Eye Crispy Batter Fish Fingers - I would think targetting T would be best - I think M comp. might fail there as well (unless of course you want to try for a failure and an eventual GC;)). I only picked them up at my final store on Monday - I wasn't even aware of them until that point - 3 stores before didn't tell me. I suspect that may be because they were still showing full price.
I came across no M yesterday that had £1 offer price showing:(. Two stores with full price £1.47, two with no SELs at all:(, including Wrexham:(:(, and no trace in another. Hopeless. I did have them checked at one store though and of course they are still £1 (as the offer has some time to run!).
As for my KTC Veg. store with two sets (or even three, one duplicate;):() of pricing, I couldn't even bet on that being correct on the pricing they showed more often as at least one other item in that store was incorrectly priced - I checked the Kir Royale, having had 'confusion' at other stores - some now showing £2.47, including this one, and it scanned at £1.98:rotfl:. They seemed to have it right on a set of frozen items though - one was not marked with an mbuy but it did just scan at full price. I assume the others, that were marked with the mbuy, are on mbuy:rotfl:.
Anyway, enough of my random things in M - which may not be reflected on the APG - I'll have to go, and see you later:wave:.0 -

Could I ask for a show of hands for 23rd please and do we want to go for something to eat as I realise it's not as money saving as booth's. We do have a booths but it's out of town the same as the aviary and not easy for emerald and Nellie to get to.
I vote for lunch, but will be fine with Booths, can get a butty therex
