Thunder has been rumbling round here for about an hour or so but only showery rain. I went swimming this morning but managed to get my gear washed and dried before the rain started. DH currently at the dentist - anticipating a large bill
 again today as I passed by on the way to price a job.0 -

What's the price of that Cofresh product next to them though? I think that might be the key:rotfl:.
As to "price crunch", I see that sometimes and I am not sure. I sometimes think "price crunch" means the price has increased. Okay it might have been even higher immediately before, but sometimes they seem to go up from cheaper prices before and then "crunch" back to not quite as low as they were before. (I hesitated about putting the word "low" there:rotfl: - as, for the supermarkets, their use of the word "low" seems to me to mean "high" - I was going to put "cheap" therefore instead of "low", but then decided that the lowest price wasn't "cheap" either:rotfl:.) I'm not sure whether I have the right Yorkshire Parkin loaves - probably a different size pack from somewhere before - but I now have "£1.50 price crunch" on some of them.:eek:That seems to me very high - the price I have before (but it may be a different pack) is £1. I don't think I would pay £1.50 for them - I suspect the "price crunch" is in fact an increased price (compared to some earlier time). It seems to me, cynically, that is it just there to mark out some items and have them sold at very high prices. However, I'm sure it has a purpose beyond "just" that. Sometimes it may not be intentional, but could simply be that a member of staff omitted to remove the "price crunch" label. I do not know how £1.77 for the Ocean Spray Craisins in one store a few weeks ago can have the "price crunch" label put to it when that was the day after what seems to me to have been the last day of the recent £1 offer. Maybe the product was not on the offer before in that store. Or, maybe, more likely, pull the other one:rotfl:.
I had £1 "price crunch" in two stores that had the Taskmaster Masking Tape. At that time, it was 87p in every other M I saw.0 -
