    Hello,
Sorry the crisps and pepsi didnt work it was in the deal:o
    EDIT
    This was yesterday
    4x Pepsi Max Bottle (2LT) £4.00 £3.00
    1x Walkers Sensations Vintage Cheddar & Onion Crisps (150G) £1.00 £0.75

Didn't yesterday's shop have four Pepsis and four Walkers/Doritos though?

They're (maybe) just not picking up the Pepsi with the crisps/chips even though, as you say, they are in the M deal.

Perhaps can't mix and match on the APG on items that are available across M stores (as opposed to those in the same shelving section). They don't go walking from one area to the other to put items together into one offer and then walking back again. Of course, in some Ms, some products could be physically located near to each other that aren't near each other in other Ms - though I reckon most, if not all, Ms will have separate aisles for crisps and soft drinks (I mean on the same side of an aisle, if someone has crisps on one aisle and soft drink opposite them, in the same aisle). In Wrexham a few months ago, the Nestle desserts were physically quite some way apart from the Philadelphia cheeses even though both were in the same offer and, indeed, no indication at all in that store of the items even being in a mix and match with each other - the Nestles, I think, didn't even have the mbuy displayed. So the mix and match would not be picked up in that store and the contribution from there would be full individual price. Other stores did have the offer clearly showing - and the products close to each other - although, even there, it may have been difficult across product lines. Then we're into 'most common' (or tied) price result obtained, if some stores they have don't show the offers across all items - or don't even have all items that are in an offer.

Meanwhile, I had my own problem yesterday even buying what I wanted in M:rotfl:. I had a mix and match, which I've concluded consists of three items. I had only two of the three in one store and wanted one of the items together with the one they didn't have in that store:(. I had that one at each of two other stores, together with the item from the first store that I didn't want but neither of them had the item I wanted that I only found in the other store:rotfl:. The two items I want turn out neither to be available at A so I would have to buy them in M - if I could find a store that stocks both of them. As regards the APG/TBG, if items in a mix and match are not in some stores they check, they may have those items at full price or only in an offer on their own (and mix and match not picked up) from another store of theirs if the other items, at the other store, aren't in that store.

I think the Pepsi/Doritos etc. offer is different though - it's likely they have all the products in each of their stores but just that they are physically in quite different places and, even though they are large signs saying "Pepsi/Doritos/Walkers Sensations" in at least some Ms, the collectors won't go around stores putting Pepsi with Doritos when they'd have to walk quite a distance and then back again (and with every variant). The different lines may also not be indicated on the individual SELs: it may just have the Pepsi name and "mix and match" (sometimes leaving no clue as to what it is mixed and matched with - I have occasions problems determining what is in a mix and match, for example if I have one bottle of wine at £5 and "2 for £7 mix and match" but have no other bottles of wine in the same store that say "2 for £7 mix and match" at all. I have just the one product in a store - and the SEL says "mix and match". Mix and match - with what?!?:p:rotfl:).

(I had the one yesterday, where I picked up a product from a SEL and no stock at one store, but wasn't sure exactly which product it was from that store as it had no weight indication. I had to find physical stock in another store to see what weight it was - found there with no SEL at all:rotfl:. So, I used the SEL from the other store and tied it up with the stock in another. The price collectors would not be able to work this way. Just my stores I happened to visit - obviously the product is extremely likely available in some other M, that I didn't visit, with clear SEL information next to it. But, my stores, on that product - it was unclear. Had I gone to the 'clear store', other products completely would have been unclear there, as between other selected stores then chosen.)

There are "Pepsi/Doritos/Walkers Sensations" offer cards in at least some Ms. However, these are at the front of the store or somewhere else in the store other than an aisle and the price collectors don't check those areas. They stick to the main aisles I think. Also, even if you went by the offer cards, they don't have all the individual flavour items nearby them, you'd have to find those from the main aisle runs. And then be going back and forth between Pepsi and Doritos/Sensations when it's probably not even marked there. However, Doritos and Doritos will pick up offer, or Pepsi with Pepsi, as those are in the same shelving - and Doritos and Sensations all in one section of stores for them.
