Quickie just to say the skydive all went well.

BUT called in a big A on the way home where DD and I both did yoghurt shops, pleased to find the peanut flavour, went to manned tills due to queues for SS, and SA picked up all my yogs in pairs and put them all through on 1 transaction at £3. Same for DD.

DD asked SA shouldn't they all go through separate, SA very off and said definitely not.

Furious. Lesson learned, SS next time.

Hope you are all well, catch up tomorrow, going out again now, back tomorrow. xx

They definitely should. HO should be told - I imagine it actually ruins A stock-checking system. If a thief steals/shoplifts from A, how is A to know which items it is short of if SAs are putting items through as things they are not? It could therefore affect A's ability to put evidence towards a shoplifting court case and show that a particular item was missing as it has been stolen. It is therefore important to put things through correctly - and the SA doesn't appreciate this if you want them to lose their job:o. It sounds like they were rude to your daughter as well.

Maybe it is just me, wanting to ensure things are done correctly and properly such as putting technically different items through as what they are - and it's not a mere technicality if it loses you an APG - but I imagine putting items through as things other than what they actually are does cause problems down the line (even if SAs may fail to appreciate it). Someone has the job of trying to reconcile all this and to do the stockchecks.

I don't normally have items of clothing on my list - I normally skip those non-grocery areas of the stores - however I do have one. I have a Belvia Bra Small at £1.17. Presumably for small-busted ladies.

I will put that onto the list - don't know if it's store specific - it may or it may not be. It was in a different part of the store to the normal clothing aisles, so I did notice the item and I won't ignore it.

Nutella Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread (30g) is/was 9p in M - however it always works out more expensive than SP/Savers 400g.

    A consolation prize vs Morries.

Squash still glitching today if this is "A Squash 2 for £2":

1x ASDA Chosen By You Apple & Blackcurrant Double Concentrate No Added Sugar (1.5LT) £1.34 £1.00
1x ASDA Chosen By You Orange Double Strength Squash (1.5LT) £1.34 £1.00

Muller Light singles comparing, for the purposes of a womble, well vs M due to three non-appearing ones (all Peanut and Caramel).

3x Muller Light Fat Free Yogurt Vanilla Sprinkled with Dark Chocolate (165G) £2.04:T £1.50:T

I like an A full price but a cheaper M mbuy.

2x Muller Light After Dinner Mint Flavour with Dark Chocolate (175G) £1.36 £1.36
1x Muller Light Smooth Toffee Fat Free Yogurt (175G) £0.68 £0.68
3x Muller Light Fat Free Yogurt Orange Sprinkled with Dark Chocolate (165G) £2.04 £1.50

I thought they bought too many £1 yoghurts:( - however they are returning either £1 in M or N/A:j against there.

    2x Yoplait Wildlife Strawberry Flavour Choobs (6X40G) £2.00 £2.00
    1x Muller Kids Corner Toffee Hoops (4X135G) £1.00 N/A:j
    1x Muller Kids Corner Easter Yogurts (4X135G) £1.00 N/A:j
    1x Yoplait Wildlife Variety Choobs (6X40G) £1.00 £1.00

    2x ASDA Malted Wheaties (750G) £2.00:( £2.64
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Parsnips (500G) £0.54 £0.85:eek:
    2x Cadbury Brunch Bar Choc Chip (6X32G) £2.00 £3.86:(
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Golden Delicious Apples (600G) £0.85 £1.43:eek:

So, although they did get a few price-matched items £1 vs £1 M - Nature Valley 5 pack bars and McVities Penguins for instance by going for A's 2 for £2:( (Nature Valley have gone to £1 in M - I've got their details but they are not good enough to get to the list, Penguins were 3 for £2 in M, now £1 each), it's not due to them buying well but merely because they happened to get a couple of glitches.

Despite getting some price-matched items and two glitches, they've actually lost a lot of the APG that the glitches would have given and ended up completely losing the squash glitch amount and losing a significant amount of the Muller glitch too:(. It came out as being A were cheaper:(:( but not by 10%. But, at least I end up with a voucher that should not have been.

Just placed an order with sutton seeds for some strawberry and some dwarf sunflower plugs. There is a code for £5 off easy to find if you Google. Not sure if works on £20 or £25 as I spent £25. Nice if you need anything.
No here near enough room for veg growing here but friend is going to put hanging baskets up for strawberries and I have a built in planter for sunflowers.
Days like today make me determined to get garden sorted. Have even rung tree surgeon about over hanging tree. Clearing overhanging branches will improve my sunshine. Had thought about asking owners of the over kept garden it is in if I could remove tree completely but I do enjoy hearing the birds.

A reminder - the W frozen 5 for £6 deal is still on but there have never been any signs about it in my store.

It includes 4x Essential W frozen quarter pounders, so 20 burgers for £6 :). Handy in this weather and as no signs in store the freezer was still well stocked, as £2.69 a pack (fresh Essentials W quarter pounders are on offer at £2.48).

they are 100% BEEF as well, (99% on ingredients)

My W never seems to have more than 4 packs of these in the freezer. May have to go to the other one and see if they have more. They are really tasty burgers.

This is clearly better price in A than the Good Girl Cat Litter Tray in M on £2 RTC.

    Bob Martin Cat Litter Tray

    Store_2.15px.png
    £1.50 £1.50 / Unit
    Store_1.15px.png
    £3.00

£1.50 looks like a fairly regular price in A on this, according to msm, although it has just gone down, from a very brief spike at £3, according to that site's price graph.

That's the trouble though - if something becomes what may seem to be a "good" price but then stays at that for an extended amount of time, that then just becomes the normal regular price and you aren't then making any saving from what is normal in the place where it is usually that price. If the offers become 'too good' but then end, the products then never look as good again - I won't touch any Broccoli at 38p now even though I was regularly buying it at that price before (and was even buying it at 50p several years ago!). So, in the end (although maybe only for those with normally good memories, or long memories, like myself, and therefore it doesn't actually matter as most shoppers don't remember these things), it's all counterproductive as anything that went to really good offer now doesn't look any good to be bought ever again, and anything that didn't go onto offer is still at non-offer high price anyway so also I'm not going to buy it. Buy nothing:laugh::money::rotfl::rotfl:.
