I might be wrong but I think it was izzey65 who first mentioned the possibility of it being a bird scarer and I had to get in the car and go and take one more look. It was then I saw the rope connecting it to the ground. Even then I thought" how cruel...someone tying a rope to that lovely bird":rotfl:

Edit....it might not have been izzey....possibly 3Dogs or WMC
