    Goes without saying.

    It's a done deal here.

I can remember when we weren't in.

So today we went to Liverpool :j

On the minus side no samples from Body Shop or Locctaine but I didn't really expect there to be. I wanted to get the £2.50 mag from Tesco with the free eye liner, sadly not stocked in the little Tesco (it had plant trays reduced to 30p but we could not carry them as we were on the train :(

On the plus side I had the screen shop image from 10 ways saved on my phone and we went to the hotel chocolate cafe and had free iced frappes - salted caramel for me and white chocolate for OH - nearly £4 each  OH was very impressed with his :) really gorgeous

Then we were walking across to John Lewis when we came across Marks sampling girls with their catering van and by going past a few times on the way too and from various shop we tried posh hot dog sausages, tacos with feta, wraps with jerk chicken and marinated chicken - they had peach yogurt and cheese very early on but we missed these :(

Then we went to the JL cafe armed with my one and only coffee and cake voucher, climbed the numerous floors, very busy only to find the cafe had NO CARROT CAKE  lunchtime on a Saturday, how bad is that. At least the voucher is valid until the end of June so we will try again another day.

Originally the intention was to have our free Greggs lunch but as we had already eating enough bits and pieces we decided we might as well save this for another day.

So on the way back we had a wonder around Marks and in the food hall we sampled lemon shortbread and English wine from Surrey which finished things off nicely :)

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I did the original one all on my own a good 10 years ago but Lee and I screwed some new boards down on top as the other was looking rough. I'm handy with my hands ;)
