If only I'd known. I'd already bought my shop by this time. It looks like the prices of some of these on the APG have changed - didn't the highlighted one work earlier in the day? - so we're on Wednesday's data it seems.
This is probably due to some of the meals being available in their Ms at £2 on Monday but having sold out, at random, from their stores and SEL removed, then leaving those versions only somewhere else at £2.92 for them. The Beef Lasagne was still in enough Ms for them with £2 SEL to pick up that price - or else maybe it was one that wasn't stocked in their "£2.92" store. Or - sometimes - it can be the 'half a job' approach, again, adopted by staff in M - where they put the offer labels on some items in a range but fail to put the stickers onto every product in the range, whether due to lack of time, not printing off and having available every individual version's SEL or otherwise just being the usual incomplete job that most people seem to do.
If it were me - I do this with my list, I sit there, putting every item in a product range that I have got onto my list - it is long-winded, takes time and is laborious, but I just cannot fail to put every item I've got in the range on the list. I just have this inability to do anything other than a complete job - it takes longer to do, but it is done fully - I just couldn't live with putting only 7 items out on the list if I've got 8 for example. I have to put all of them on there (in so far as I have got them at all in my Ms from M). If I were employed by M, I just could not leave - like one of my Ms has - one specific of the Heinz Kidz meals with full price SEL having changed all of the others to show the offer price. I don't know how anyone can physically do that - to me, from my own way of working, it's impossible. however, for the 'normal person', it seems they somehow can live with the glaringly obvious full price sticking out in the middle of all the offer price SELs - and manage to change all but one of them - how's that even possible? - wouldn't you do a complete job and print every one of the product SELs off? How could anyone miss one?!? Yet, they do. Either maybe they got interrupted or otherwise didn't get round to it, or some other reason, and neurotypical (yes, that now old chestnut:o:D) being neurotypical, they don't retain in their mind the fact they still need to change one outstanding SEL later. Whereas I(:rotfl:) could not possibly not know that I had made this omission which, even if I was interrupted, I would need to correct very soon later. I would always remember what I still had left to complete. That is how I experience things and how my mind works.:)
On the 'half', or 'two-thirds', whatever, of a job, it could be all the different Kirsty's meals were stocked in an M for them but Beef Lasagne had £2 SEL and the others £2.92 and the £2.92s weren't overturned as there weren't at least the same number of £2s for them elsewhere - probably those versions not stocked at all in some of their check stores and more £2.92 SELs therefore found. Perhaps I would I have assumed in the past or thought it would increase accuracy by checking across more than one store; however it can lead to unintended consequences like this - where, bizarrely, checking more stores actually finds more incorrect prices sometimes and therefore they get a wrong price. It just depends which stores you go to - if you were just to go to one M, you could have a right price or you could not. Or you may not even have the item at all. You'd hope that more Ms, that have an item, would have a correct price than would not. However, sometimes, depending on which ones you happen to visit, this is not the case.0 -
