They are both on Savvybuyer's list on page one so there is a good chance that they will compare.
That's out of date though, as I still haven't got round to updating to this week:o - however 'as far as I am aware' LM Vegetarian Sausages (frozen) are still £1 in M and I don't see any issues as to why they should not pick up M at £1. The LM Mozarella Burger is £1 in M or else the Quorn Southern Fried Chicken Burgers, all of which are £1 each in M. There is also the Quorn Pieces I believe to add to the list at M £1. (They are the 300g ones.)
Just so you know now, the Birds Eye Steamfresh products have moved from the Sunshine and Farmhouse Mix etc. onto the Rice Fusions Golden Veg. or Med. Veg. (That's from my memory so is undoubtedly right.) The Sunshine etc. have gone up to £1.79 I think (again, from memory).
I've lost all of the £1 RTC yogurts in M this time. I imagine that they will either have been marked down and sold out of M by now or else may be unlikely to be picked up. Nonetheless, I have a Caitlin yogurt of some type now at 50p in M. I believe that may not be stocked by A - so would be a buy in M as T should not compare against M RTC items.
I've also lost the Monster Khaos energy drink and now think that if the alcohol drinks (small cans etc.) that went onto RTC in M are still around and maybe at even better RTCs, they are unlikely to be found by the price collectors now. They become available in fewer and fewer Ms because of the increasingly good price and thus make it less and less likely they will be a price collection store. The Cadbury Finger's at 25p, at least the Milk Chocolate, also seem a no-go on the APG: they were already N/A before they even went down to 25p, so have most likely already gone from the collection stores. As to 'unlikely to be picked up', though, you never know: my store that went no trace of Princes Salmon a month ago has now suddenly come back into trace:huh:. As of Wednesday, I have a 40p SEL in the store now, although no stock. The SEL has suddenly reappeared on the shelf, after not being seen for a month. They may have had the odd can in the storeroom and brought it out only recently. So, you never know, these things could suddenly appear in a collection store and compare against the RTC price - however we would never know when that happened (unless they were lucky enough to be on a womble at the right time).
In my case, I've been no SEL at all for Princes Pink Salmon as to be 'over the 7 day limit for comparison' if I was the APG. Therefore, my SEL now but with no stock would still be an N/A. Nonetheless, I was not at this store (or indeed any other) on Monday and, if this was a price collection store, which it won't be, then they could have had stock and a SEL briefly at the store on Monday when collectors were there and suddenly come into stock - pick up 40p on the APG, no trace anywhere in their other five stores I suspect and thus a 40p. Then Wednesday would be 40p due to being in stock on Monday. However, if the SEL was put there on Monday but no stock, stock was brought in on Tuesday and all sold out on that day, then no stock on Wednesday, it would be N/A. Similarly if the SEL was not there on Monday but was put there, with stock, on Tuesday that sold out and then on Wednesday again no stock N/A. It would be completely random. They could have stock (that is on the shelf) but no SEL on Monday - no good as need a SEL to pick up any data - the SEL put there on Tuesday and all sold out on that day, leaving the SEL on Wednesday but no stock - still no good as they were no data on Monday (even though there was actual stock). Therefore, with no data taken on Monday, the collectors will have been OOS for over 7 days by now, so that a SEL and no stock (on Wednesday) is no good. Even though they actually had stock on Monday - but the system I reckon would show OOS as they couldn't get a price without there being a SEL. At this stage, they would need stock and a correct SEL on one of their collection dates to compare. It could appear at any time, but will be random and we would never know when. Only if both happened on the same day, but then there was the SEL next time without stock would it then compare on the next occasion, when there wasn't the stock, as well.
They don't collect on Tuesday so what happened in their Ms on that date is irrelevant. So that if one of their stores suddenly finds some salmon and puts it all out with SEL on a Tuesday but it all sells out that very day and the SEL is removed at closing time on Tuesday, then it is no good. (Neither is it any good if the SEL then remains on the Wednesday, collection date, but the stock has all gone from the shelf - the collectors have been OOS for too long and need to see both stock and a SEL. There was stock on Tuesday but this is no good - it wasn't a collection day so they didn't see it. To them it looks like they have a SEL but they haven't had any stock for over 7 days so it's an N/A.) However, if stock with SEL happens on a Wednesday morning instead, then it would compare (depending on any conflicting results from their other five stores overturning it - I suspect by now, if it ever appears with SEL in the APG stores, it's likely to be one store out of their six only and all complete N/A everywhere else: so no overturning would be likely. But it's even more highly improbable that the salmon would appear with SEL on the right date in one of the right stores (i.e. one of the 6 APG stores out of M's 500+)).
These RTC products could continue on in M for many many months yet. I now suddenly have in one of my stores, where I've never seen it before, an RTC item from at least eight months ago that I have not seen in any M for a while. Of course I kept it on my list - it's no longer stocked in A anyway. But this is just how things could happen if it's a collection store. The item has been out and around in numerous stores, at different times, over the last eight months - first in one of my other stores, then it vanished from there, then it appeared in a different one and vanished, then around different others and now, it's appeared, with SEL, in this store of mine, for the first time I've ever seen, eight months after I first had it elsewhere. They may just have a unit in the storeroom in some stores that got left around and was never put out on the original clearance. It may have been in my store eight months before, but put out and all the stock put out cleared on one day which wasn't a collection day. Could have put it out on a Thursday seven months ago and cleared before the weekend - and then I visit on Monday and - SEL is gone, so is the stock - so I never see it.
I think it's unlikely the bottled or sparkling waters that are RTC in M would compare now. The Pringles Original Tortilla on £1 RTC would also seem to be most unlikely as it's gone from most Ms. The other Pringles Tortillas have gone back up to £2, even though they were also, according to one M, on £1 RTC before. They are not anymore. I haven't seen the Walkers Popcorn mix for ages and the Sunbites are also most unlikely to compare in my view. As are the 86p Dove Compresseds - they'll all random RTCs that are in so few stores.
I think you need to have them at the start of their RTC, when they around across most Ms. Some of these seem they may disappear from most Ms quite quickly and sometimes within a week. Unfortunately, some of them then go to better prices in the few Ms in which they still remain but, because they are in so fewer stores, by that time they are likely to have gone out of all the collection stores.
In short, the yogurts are gone and the alcohol cans are gone too. As is the Fentiman's Ginger Beer and the Bottlegreen drink. (Of course, someone will still have one of these and someone else will have another one etc. in their M (and say to me "but, Savvy, I have it..." (although people never say this to me:rotfl:)) but, believe me, they are not widespread across M now and your rare M is unlikely to be a collection store so it will be highly unlikely to be picked up.) Of course it's possible an item that is in so few stores could compare if it happens to be a price collection store. Or else they are left around in stores with unchanged SELs and if they are one of the collection stores, may pick up that incorrect price:(.0
