We have to  the main priority is the wedding two days after we land. The plan is to do water park on day one, wedding day two, Magic kingdom day three then we don't know because it's a bank holiday weekend and it'll be rammed  would quite like a beach day in Miami but so would thousands of other people so we don't know yet. The rest if the group are disney'ing but we don't want to for more than a day. We're already gonna be at MK from opening until after the fireworks :eek:

Kennedy space centre looks good so that might be a goer
Kennedy Space Centre is fab. Miami is nice but a long drive - a good four hours from Orlando. Cocoa Beach is only just over an hour away and is lovely, although it doesn't have quite the glitz of Miami.

I wouldn't drive down to miami as over 3 hours drive so 6 hours of holiday wasted.
Cocoa beach is an easy drive if you want beach and near is to space centre (only going for a week I wouldn't bother with Kennedy unless you are space crazy). Or drive to the other coast and find a beach near tamp a. Lovely clear waters without the waves of the Atlantic you get at Cocoa beach.
2 weeks doesn't cost a lot more but once you factor all the extra things you could do, food and the unavoidable shopping you spend a lot more.

Nerfy I hope you have pre booked any of the character dining you want to do as once there it tends to be full up.

    V x

It was all the added extras that put us off :o still not enthralled about the extra costs now and we are only there for a week!

Cocoa beach is a possibility, as is Clearwater :)

qoc have you seen the thing in the box to the right about passport issues and the US? They have very recently changed their rules and quite a few people have been denied admission as a result in the last couple of weeks. Make sure you have the little gold camera symbol on the front.

I check both our passports every time I walk past them, like the symbol has magically disappeared since I last checked :rotfl::rotfl:

I found a voucher for KSC too - only $2.50 but it's still money off :rotfl:

I don't know why bother now - besides no longer being able to have the variety of Mullers that I prefer and having to buy additional items as they now count, at best, as 2 different items and not all 8, have they not now gone up from, effectively, about 2p each to 12 for £1.50 or something like that?

Sainburys are still showing at 55p.I don't know when their offer changes.

If they are still 55p then buying 11+1 works out at approx 8p each.
