Sainsburys useless Vouchers

Hi,
I usually shop at Tesco's but Occasionally Sainsburys so I have online accounts at both. Sainsburys would often send me good vouchers to use in store so I would go there if it was worth it.
A few weeks ago I placed an order at Sainsburys without any vouchers because there was something there I wanted. When the shopping arrived the driver gave me some decent vouchers.
When I go to use them the following week I realise I can only use them in store. I phoned and asked why and mentioned that it was silly seeing as it was obvious I was an online shopper and the girl just said well that's what we do. I was fed up but I had already spent ages filling the basket so I ordered anyway. Again when the shopping came they gave me online vouchers only.
This time I emailed and asked why they cant make them useable for both like Tesco do and they just gave me the same useless answer. I said what if I was disabled or ill and that's why I shop from home? It was actually the case at the time. Why would you give me useless vouchers that are clearly a waste of paper and time. Its just what we do...
I suppose the idea is to get you in store to spend more? I don't know. I'm hoping if enough people agree its silly and wasteful (my vouchers go straight in recycle) they might look into it?

I'm awaiting my Nectar card as it snapped about a week ago
Every single transaction since then, a coupon for new online shopping always gets printed. One of the cashiers who I have a good chat with (in the evenings when it's quiet) says they are printed every time a customer doesn't swipe a Nectar card, sometimes printed with a card scanned.
She, her colleagues and customers are sick to death of them. A total waste of paper.
Why can't Sainsburys put the code online or at the bottom of receipts which take up less paper?
Sainsburys need to understand the current method is hated by all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
