UK Employee moving abroad for few years.

The company I am dealing with having a situation that one of the employee who is a British Citizen moving abroad temporarily (probably 2-3 years). Currently this company do not have any branches in the country that the employee is planning to move. But still the company recognise the fact that she is valued member of the team and they want to employ her, so that she can operate remotely and visit UK once in a while depending on the needs
Few questions here.
1. Can UK company employ a person who is operating from abroad
2. Do they need to pay tax, NI if they are operating as employee from abroad
3. How do they need to make the payment? I mean to say, can they pay into UK bank account or do they need to pay directly into her abroad bank account?
4. If they are making payment into UK bank account and because the employee is not a resident in UK and if she needs to make the tax payments abroad, how does she need to declare the earnings.
Can someone please clarify if there are any other options available.

I am basically looking for Options available and end to end process

Thank you in advance for time and consideration

The company involved should raise these questions with a professional advisor rather then seek random opinions from the internet.

I completely agree. But just want to understand as it is too early stages and if the idea is completely rubbish, they can scrap the plan. It is a very small company and never came across these situations. Hence it is just a small thought

    Thank you

So it's the employee who has decided to move abroad.

PAYE still applies. You contact HMRC and they will issue a NT tax code if they are satisfied that the employee is a non-resident. You contact the relevant overseas tax authority and follow their instructions. Most jurisdictions have an equivalent to PAYE.
