Good afternoon all
I know that this has been discussed to death, but for my own peace of mind I just want to check if my understanding is correct.
I received a pcn from G24 earlier this year, claiming I had parked in the car park for around 7 hours (2 hours max stay). Long story short, I was there in the afternoon to shop for around an hour, left (with the car) and returned at 8pm to pick up my girlfriend from work. So basically they have two pictures of me, both times leaving the car park...ridiculous I know.
So I looked here for advice and ignored the letters and now Debt Recovery Plus have sent me a letter saying payment needs to be made now or they will advise G24 to take this for legal action.
I presume I should ignore this also? What legal standing does G24 have, can they take me to court? Will it affect my credit rating?
Thanks for your time.

Have a good read of the Newbies Sticky and the Debt Collectors threads to set your mind at ease:

Also search out some of the recent threads on "double dipping" - Its a common thing.
If you are at the DRP stage, then it is unlikely G24 will entertain any appeal from you - and TBH, they aren't interested at the best of times. So getting this cancelled by the store/operator is probably the best option, or sit-tight and see if they take any further action, which in G24's case is pretty unlikely although not impossible.
