The Yorkshire Vet Competition 1 – Additional Terms and Conditions

1. The prize comprises:
a) Standard class train travel allowance up to the value of £500 total
b) Taxi transfers from Skipton Station to The Devonshire Arms
c) 3 night stay at The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa sharing a four poster room
d) Daily Yorkshire breakfast
e) One evening meal in 1AA Rosette Brasserie
f) Two evening meals in the 4AA Rosette Burlington restaurant with wine pairing
g) One 50 minute spa treatment per person
h) One Sparkling afternoon tea
i) Unlimited access to Bolton Abbey Estate during the stay
j) £500 spending money
Dogs are welcome in the hotel and if the winner would like to bring a dog then they will be provided with the following:
a) 3 nights stay in a doggy four poster bed, located within the winner’s room
b) Dog sitting whilst the winner/dog owner enjoy dinner/breakfast/afternoon tea,
c) Bowls,
d) Treats and a toy.
2. The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations letter from Cloud9 being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3. The prize must be taken within 12 months of the prize winner being notified of the prize and cannot be taken on or between the following dates: 22nd October – 30th October 2016, 23th December 2016 – 3rd January 2017, 8th April 2017 – 24th April 2017 and 1st May 2017.
4. Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
5. The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
6. Dog policy:
a) Your pet must be kept on a leash and accompanied by the winner or their guest or held in arms in all public areas of the hotel, including outdoors. Pets are not allowed in indoor food and beverage outlets. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.
b) You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog in the hotel or in the neighbourhood.
c) Any disturbances must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa reserves the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays inappropriate behaviour including, but not limited to, excessive barking, biting or evidence of disease. The winner will be responsible for all charges relating to the removal of the pet including transportation and kennel charges.
7. The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
8. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
9. Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
10. A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
