I've got the form from the solictors (and nationwide) and its got a section for the borrower and this section that goes
Occupiers Consent to Mortgage
I/We _______________ will be in occupation of the property at the time the mortgage is made I/We agree with Nationwide that any right of occupation or share or interest in the property which we/i may have now or later is postponed and subject to the rights of nationwide as first morgagee
Is this me as a the borrow and eventual occupier or something the current owners eventually sign? Id phone up nationwide solicitors but its like 20 mins wait and I know i'll get transfered yet again after this.

Looks like something an adult living in the property, but not named as party to the mortgage, would sign. ie they agree not to stand in the way of the lender if they need to repossess.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
