Affordability or not

I recently got married and we both own our own houses, my wife has a relatively low wadge and was refused a remortgage due to affordability, I contribute to the house keeping ect can she add this amount to her income without having to involve me in the remortgage process??

No. You could offer to buy into the property and then your full income will be taken into account.

The other mortgage will also have to be taken into account as well. Which may well affect affordability. Then there's stamp duty to consider as well.
