London Overground Train Saturday 7th May 2016

Hi All,


I am planning to travel from Shepherds Bush station to Selhurst on Saturday 7th May 2016 at approx 11am onward.


I have always changed at Clapham Junction in the past, but for this Saturday, when I check on the National Rail enquiries website, I cant find any direct trains from SB to Clapham.


They are all taking over an hour with 2 stops. Is there engineering works or delays Saturday.


Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Yes there is.

On that very website you have already looked at you will find:

Engineering work between Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May

Start date - 07/05/2016

End date - 08/05/2016

Route affected - London Overground between Clapham Junction and Stratford / Willesden Junction. Southern between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central.

Train operators affected - London Overground , Southern

Description -

Engineering work is taking place between Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia, with all lines closed.

London Overground -
Trains between Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia will not run. Passengers should use local buses.

Southern -
On Saturday trains will not run to / from Milton Keynes Central and on Sunday trains will not run to / from Watford Junction.
Passengers are advised to use London Underground between Victoria and Euston and then London Midland services between London Euston and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central.
