Okay, this is not strictly money saving, but will save me a packet if I manage to find my parcel!
I ordered contacts lenses from the internet and they haven't arrived. I sent the company an e-mail and they replied by saying I should go to the post office to see if they are holding a parcel for me.
How do I do this? Go to the local post office and randomly ask? I had the parcel directed to work, in Central London, so there are probably loads around here.
Is there another way to check?

Its usually the local sorting office that holds parcels for about 3 weeks before RTS.
Try the royal mail website, i think by typing in your work (in this case) postcode it will give you the address and phone number of your local sorting office. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
Thank you. I shall do that. The worse thing is that the contacts aren't even for me, but for a friend. I put the money on my credit card, but he's not going to pay me back if he hasn't got the contacts (even if I was only doing him a favour  )Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
