Will I get high street rates?

Property value - £280000
deposit - £90000 ( from equity in current home)
Mortgage required - £190000
LTV - 68%
Debts - 1 car on HP @£179 per month. No other debts Never had a CCJ or default

but..
Multiple late payments from 2 years ago. The most recent being March 2014. Never more than 1 month late and all for unsecured debt ( never paid mortgage late). This was at a time when life was chaotic and disorganised!! I have not had a single late payment for 25 months and, with the exception of the car, I have cleared all credit card and unsecured debts.

What are my chances? I really don't want to go down the sub-prime route.

That is not a sub-prime case.

You will have high street options as long as your latest two years is spotless.

  • Thanks. I should have almost 3 years clean file by the time we actually apply. Glad to hear that my past disorganization isn't going to cripple me for 6 years!
