Meal planning - wk 2nd May

Afternoon All.
I'm only going to be planning a short week this week - Tuesday to Friday
Breakfast - overnight oats (Oats, muller light, frozen berries, Banana)
Lunch -
A mix of tiny yellow tomatoes (roasted), mozzarella, sliced chicken sausage, diced carrot, diced apple, and diced peppers. Or
Pasta bolognese (LO) - mince (4%), sw meatballs, garlic, tinned tomatoes, grated carrot, onion, sweetcorn, diced peppers, diced aubergine, mushroom, Pasta, cottage cheese, mozzarella, egg
Dinner
Tuesday - Ham or beef salad
Wednesday - Chicken fried rice - chicken, mushroom, beansprouts, bamboo, water chestnuts, sum choi, peppers, rice, garlic, ginger, soy
Thursday (v) - Stuffed flat mushrooms - onion, peppers, tomato, garlic, black beans, sweetcorn, rice, mozzarella, 2 big flat mushrooms
Friday (v) - Twice baked (chilli stuffed) BN squash - half roast squash, TVP, tinned tomatoes, kidney beans, haricot beans, black beans, sweet corn, peppers, onion, cumin seed, dried coriander, cayenne pepper.
Snacks - strawberries, plums, grapes, bananas, apples

That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

We are away mon - Thursday but taking food with us for in the caravan.
M - Pizza
T - pie & peas
W - pasta, sauce & garlic bread
T - pizza before we head home
This kids are just little and are not interested in eating out. Ive got. Cereal &.crumpets fror breakfast - plus toastie/sandwich stuff for lunches.
Kids will be happy to play in the pool and spend money elsewhere & im happy to have easy stuff for meals.Living the simple life0 -
We've got a busy week ahead - weather permitting so teas have to be easy or quick, or both.
Breakfast: Yogurt, fruit and walnuts for me; porridge for MrO
Lunches: Soup or sandwiches on the plot. Leftovers at home or eggs on toast.
Teas
Sun: Roast chicken with streaky bacon, potatoes, green beans, cauliflower, sprouting broccoli, gravy. Baked butternut squash with feta and sage for the veggies today. Tofu and chocolate mousse.
Mon: As Sunday.
Tues: Pasta with tomatoes, pesto and mushrooms.
Wed: Chilli chicken noodle soup.
Thurs: Sea bass fillets with red beans and rice.
Fri: Salmon or tuna steak with red beans and rice.0 -
Breakfasts - cereal & toast for the boys, Greek yogurt and fruit for me
Lunches - sarnies for the men, soups for me
S - garlic cream cheese stuffed chicken breast with rosemary potatoes and wilted spinach
M - moussaka made with LO lamb kindly donated by a friend, with green salad
T - chicken curry and brown rice
W - quiche using random fridge veg with potato salad and Greek salad
T - using up left overs, maybe omelettes, maybe chicken wraps etc
F - date night
S - steak and salad
S - roast beef and all the trimmingsNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Breakfasts will be yoghurt or porridge. Or maybe pancakes, if I have the time.
Lunches will be soup, salad or sandwiches, depending on what people want.
Dinners, in no particular order, will be:
Stir fry hoisin beef and veg with noodles
Tarka dal and rice
Vegetable casserole with mash
Gammon and hm chips with veg
Soup and a toastie
Lentil stew with rice

Morning everyone. Determined to plan ahead hence reducing stress during the week and saving some money. Well that's the plan...
Mon. Toad in the hole, veggies, onion gravy
Tues. Mexican chicken in tortilla baskets, HM wedges, salad
Wed chicken kebabs, pitta bread and salad
Thurs. Parmesan chicken, hasselback pots, broccoli and peas
Fri. Paella and salad
Sat. Mexican lasagne, wedges, salad
Sun. Roast chicken, stuffing, veggies and roast pots
Breakfasts will be poached eggs, French toast, pancakes and smoothies
Lunches will be soup, pasta salad, cous cous salad, cheese and crackers or sandwiches with fruit and HM treats. This week it's flapjack or caramel shortbread.

Friday Pizza
