Hi All,
I am wondering if you can help me. I received this letter in the post today from Moorcroft Group PLC. I was frauded a while ago by my Mother and Stepfather. I paid off 3 out of 4 of their fraud debts and one account I could not pay because I do not have the security details funnily enough.
Anyways, the letter says;
Dear XXXX
We are attempting to contact the above named person regarding a personal matter and we have been provided your address as a possible address for our customer.
If you are the person named above, please contact our office on telephone 01614752818.
However, if you are not the person named above, it is also important that you contact us, either by telephone or letter so that we can update our records accordingly.

Any advice what to do? I am gathering they expect me to pay this fraud debt. However, it is not me. Do I ring them and explain this or do something else?
Kind regards folks.

Hi,
It's a fishing letter, if it is to do with the debt you suspect it relates to, the best thing to do is send the provit letter to them.
Once they have confirmed what there interest is in you, you can then advise them of the status of the account.
