SARS Request?Where from?

Hello,

Csa obtained a charging order on NRP property for refusal to pay maintenance.
NRP emmigrated to Australia not long after renting the house out.

This week I have had a letter from Santander asking me to accept a settlement from a credit into an old closed account in 2012 which has only just come to light.
I was heavily overdrawn in account and Santander closed it in September 2012 marked as defaulted.
Unbeknown to me CSA transferred over £5000 into closed account in DEC 2012.
My csa case closed 2006 as they said they could no longer help me due to emmigration of NRP.

Never heard from them again.
I was not aware the payment was from them until this week when I rang them and asked had they ever paid me money in 2012.

Csa advisor has suggested I request a SARS as she found it inconceivable CSA never contacted me prior to transferring money to check if bank account was ok to use.

She has confirmed no documentation was ever sent to me.

Does anybody know who I write to request a SARS as she said it will be useful for timelines as to when they actually obtained the money for the charging order.
Do I need to still pay £10 for it as she wasn,t sure.

The CSA doesn't usually charge for a SARS request. You can make the request in writing to the office last dealing with your case. They don't check bank accounts are up-to-date, it's your responsibility to ensure all details are kept up to date.

You can do it through the online portal, if you are registered and your case is under the new child maintenance service.

A SAR can be in any format - there is no requirement to use any forms.
