No suncream will stop eye stinging. You should not be putting sun cream up close to the eyes anyway, that is why you wear sunglasses.

If pool water is stinging wear googles.

Sounds like you are putting it too close to the eye area.

No, it's sweat and water running into your eyes, mixed with the sunscreen which causes the sting. So not putting it too close to your eyes.

My life has been changed by using Ultrasun on my face. My eyes used to sting terribly, now it never happens. It bonds with your skin, so water doesn't pick it up. So if you get water in your eyes it's just water, not water mixed with sunscreen. It's brilliant.
You can buy it on line, at QVC and in airports.

    Reimann P20. Waterproof sunscreen.

Put it on twenty minutes before going out anywhere. Expensive, but it works, no stinging eyes. In my experience anyway.

Must be a bit like the Ultrasun mentioned above by loveka above. Although I have never used that one. YET!

OP have you tried the Ski type facial sticks? They normally look like a larger version of a lip balm in a tube and are around an SPF 50. They go on like a wax and are transparent and don't tend to run or melt like some of the bottled types. I know Ultrasun, Piz Buin, Clarins and I think Boots all make them but I'm sure there are other brands and ski and snow type shops would no doubt also have them.
