Good Morning folks
I have 3 interests/hobbies outside work:
1. Financial news
2. Current affairs
3. Football
Can anyone suggest how I can develop either or all of these in order to turn this into a second income and perhaps a part time job?
Any responses greatly appreciated.

1. The temptation to trade (I mean "invest" because when you say "invest" it makes you sound clever) is there but what you have an interest in is what many others do 10 hours a day and if you trade you're competing against them.
2. Blogging/vlogging. Be prepared to be attacked on social media no matter what your stance; you can support migrant crisis or be anti-migrant, you can support junior doctors or be anti-junior doctors; there will be someone who will tweet that they hope you catch cancer.
3. Could place bets based on form and your understanding of what the odds should be. Also, have you identified anything that either a footballer or fan might want/need?0 -

anything you do will need to be registered with HMRC as self employed and depending on your income/tax payments already you may have to pay tax on your earnings from your hobby job. xxDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022
