Self asses and tc review

I have had a letter saying I have to send in self assessment for 15/16

Can I wait for my paper tc review and do them both together?

Any idea when the tax credit reviews are going out?

The deadlines for both are completely different and get sent to different departments.

Renewals are sent anytime between April and June. Deadline is 31st July.

SA deadline is 31st October for paper, 31st January online.

Yes they started sending them in April. No you can't request yours, it's sent automatically by their system.

We received our Tax Credit Renewal letter 2 days ago and I filled it in online the same day, done and dusted, much better than ringing and being on hold for best part of an hour.
Also still need to complete hubbys SA online return from a period at the start of the tax year before he went employed, but need to do it when he's around because they send a text to his mobile to log on. Will do this as soon as I'm feeling less tired.
No reason to do them at exactly the same time, just do each of them as soon as you have all the correct figures, so do the SA one now if you can, and then have the details ready for when the TC one comes in the post and then you can either ring them, fill in the paper form, or do it online straight away.
