Sorry I've only just got back to this thread.
No it does not reduce my pension pot.
I will get £155.65/week in new state pension and that's it no matter how much NI I pay....so I choose to pay zero NI.
Is that because you already have a complete contribution record? If not then you might want to do a bit more research before deciding to continue paying no NI.0 -

Thought everyone knew there is an earnings window when you get a credit but don't pay NI.
