I don't think they've ever been interested in follow on products, SRV or nothing seems the policy. They certainly seem quite active in btl broker market as they're always in the mix when I've been looking. I've heard they're going to re-brand as co-op group so wouldn't think there likely to pull out soon. I just assumed all lenders would be interested in keeping customer but not uncommon in btl I've heard.

Residential co-op is no problem doing a self select follow on, saves a lot of hassle switching and often fairly competitive, I'm with brittiania, also co-op.

As other lenders follow suit I think it will lead to less competition in the South East which will be good for normal buyers. However it could increase landlords looking further north which wouldn't be good for normal buyers up there. Be interesting to see what happens and which lenders will follow suit.
