It is one of the standard questions/disclosures required on all BTL mortgages nowadays, as it has regulatory implications.

Your letting to your brother will make the BTL mortgage regulated, which many lenders so not like, but there are options.
You need to see a broker and be totally up front about what you are looking to do.0
