6.9.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:

Welcome to Thursday !!!!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

So, today I will:
  • do piggy comps, clicks and surveys
  • send everyone off with packed lunches
  • check online banking and update spreadsheet
  • have a meeting to talk about possible new "thread" to my business
  • do a matched bet
  • order some vouchers on pigsback
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • be very positive :D
I hope everyone has a good day xx

    Today I:

didn't bring a back up in :o but only spent 92p on some lunch (partly because I seem to still get charge student prices ;) )

had a look at our money on the online banking compared to last month and we're doing much much better (esp considering we've put away quite a bit for presents and annual spends as we've only just started these accounts.

will put 3 lots on ebay (possibly 4 will see how it goes).

have checked for surveys etc (did all the ones I had which were still open last night).

    banked £15 in coins

Changed our leftover holiday euros into sterling and paid that into savings as well

Had hm courgette soup and hm herb bread for lunch instead of eating out

Bought our t bags and batteries from poundland

Got 2 large parmolive bath foams (should be ok for shower gel as well I hope) at boots on 2 for £2 offer.
