500 GB HDD £57 delivered

Both Western Digital and Seagate are good names to go for. I've got a 500 Gb WD myself, bought from Amazon - worth checking them as well.

Are you really sure that you want 400-500 GB?

I'm not trying to put you off, it just seems a lot for someone who is not very computer knowledgeable. You may be a photographer and take photos that each use 10MB in which case this is just about reasonable - you could still store 50,000 photos, but when you take into account that mp3 players come in 1gb as fair size, 4gb for decent size, 40gb if you want them to include videos and stuff, and most photos probably are about 100 to 500 KB.

With a 500GB player you can store the equivalent of 200 mp3 players and about 10 million photos and still have space to spare. I'm not trying to put you off, just trying to encourage you to think about whether this is something you really want or something you think you need - just in a moneysaving sort of way :money:
