unfortunately i just had my e mail saying i was not one of the lucky ones - allways next time.

there are a couple of threads on the freebies forum about this, it wasnt actually a competition to win one, everyone was entering a competition for a holiday and if you also supllied 5 email address you would be sent out a free pitcher but there has been a c**k up and they didnt shut down applications so could not fulfil all that were promised. It appears now that they are randomly choosing people from those that applied even though everyone got a conformation message stating " thanks your pitcher is on its way"

I got one as well, I remember a row going on in the Freebie forum re these and the additional email addy's. I had forgotten all about it till email came.

Message to all thread users.

I'm writing from RPM, the UK marketing agency for Grand Marnier in response to the free pitcher promotion.

We understand that many of you have been unhappy that due to the excess demand for pitchers, you were unsuccessful in receiving one. The application form did state that pitchers were available while stocks last and these have now been exhausted.

The offer was made in good faith and as per the message those of you who have contacted us since have received, we will be developing an offer exclusively for those of you who were unsuccessful. We will send details of this offer out by 30th September to those who have opted into future communications from Grand Marnier (in line with data protection requirements).

We are sorry for any disappointment, and trust that you will understand that all efforts are being made to satisfy your interest in Grand Marnier as quickly and as fully as possible.
