Hi,
I'm purchasing a present for a relative that I live with. I don't want it going to the home address as this person usually picks up the mail when it is delivered and this item might be identifiable. I've considered asking the company to disguise the package but I don't think this is feasible as if they ask what it is, it might let the cat out of the bag (no, it isn't a cat
).
As we live in a small town (and I work in Belfast) I don't want to ask for the local post office to hold back our post for a few days as this might be noticed and I'd have difficulty getting back in time to collect.
Is it possible to get a package delivered directly to somewhere like Tomb St. and then pick up from there?
Thanks.

Can you not get it delivered to your work address or another relative's address?0

Have the selling company post it to your work or if your work don't allow that then have it sent to a friend or colleague's home address.0

Can I not get it held in Tomb Street or likewise for me to pick up? I know that eBay stuff can be sent to Argos is there anything similar? Work doesn't really suit as I'm not always in the office. Not really keen either on sending it to a friends address.0

Amazon offers a pick up service like the Ebay one for designated collection points like post offices.0

I am sure post office will hold it for you but you need to ask well in advance or ask for it to be wrapped in plain paper from where ever you are buying it.~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. Have a look at this link for options offered by Royal Mail:
http://www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail
However check with the company you are purchasing from - they may use a courier rather than Royal Mail. If that's the case then contact the courier to make arrangements.0 -
If it's sent my Royal Mail, you could use have the item held a Post Office for you:
