Cleaning Suede Shoes

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post in, however I'm hoping someone can help. I have bought a pair of black suede shoes, I've noticed that if I wear them into a bar etc they tend to come out looking very dirty with white marks etc on them, this is frequently the result of people standing on them.

Are there any good recommendations for maintaining these types of shoes and cleaning them?

Thanks

Are you sure the white marks are people standing on them and not say from where your feet can sweat in them causing salt stains?

Either way lots and lots of answers on google.

Yes as the footprints are actually visible on the top of the shoes.

A normal suede brush should work in that case.

Thank you. Does anything need put onto the brush/shoe as some of the dirt on the shoe looks like it will take more than a brush to remove.

No, I would try the brush on its own as it's designed to do the job. I would then maybe get some protector spray. http://m.wikihow.com/Clean-Suede-Shoes
