I have just been to Tesco in Sandhurst and they have got loads of those cardboard boxes on the ends of aisles containing goodies for £1 (like they did earlier in the year). There are too many to list here but i will try and remember the ones i can
75 wooden golf tees
3 golf balls
kids gym sacks
2 x GU10 50W light bulbs
craft set (containing feathers, coloured lolly sticks, pop-poms)
4 x bungee cords
colouring books
pack of 8 glue sticks (like pritt sticks)
pack of 8 super glue tubes
microwave egg poacher
dog collars with a reflective band
pack of 3 empty CD cases
pack of 8 cardboard filing wallets
pack of 56 hair ties -scrunchy type things
magnetic animals
tube of 500+ rawplugs
4 coat pegs on wooden board
various kids toys (one was something to do with sonic the hedgehog)
pack of 20+ ball point pens
this is like the generation game...
yep, a cuddly toy (no joke intended..they really did :rotfl:)
2 badminton rackets and shuttlecocks (these were £2)
2 table tennis bats and balls (can't remember if they were £1 or £2)
packs of plastic wallets (for A4 paper)
pack of 8 pencils with fancy animal shaped rubbers on the end
pack of 2 (or 3..can't remember) tea towels
bag for dog toys (or something like that)
dog lead (thick rope type)
I cant really remember many more but if i do i will add to the list.
I reckon there must have been around 100 of these carboard boxes on the ends of shelves. For those that know the sandhurst store, they are all down the left hand side on the ends of the aisles as you walk in. There are also some more at the ends of the toy and DIY aisles (opposite the clothes)
I hope this helps

As with a lot of things in life, cheap can be good, or still a waste of money.
I bought some of these £1 'bargins' before - and stocked up when they were reduced to 10p. Some items have proved really useful, and I wish I had bought more - eg bungee things and plastic sandwich boxes etc.
However some were so pathetic, they are a waste of storage space in my kitchen - namely the halogen bulbs. One lasted 2 days, when I put the other one in when the first one 'blew' - it didn't work !!
Needless to say I will keep an eye open for when they get reduced, but I will be a bit more selective on what I spend my 10p's on
By the by, I asked earlier this week if anyone knew when/if the 'Student' range would be hitting the shelves in Tescos - to answer my own question, noticed quite a few lines on the shelves today - bedding, study lights, pans, crockery etc.
For those of you who can hold your nerve, in 3 or 4 weeks time (or hopefully sooner) they will be reduced to clear - last year by up to 75%0 -
Yes they usually go down to BOGOF or half price then 20p and then leftovers at 10p.. I stocked up on lots of cds and dvds last year0

I did notice the keyboards for £3. Cant complain at all at that price.
