I suppose thats a good point.David_White wrote: »I wouldn't be too concerned.
To be perfectly honest this sounds like your broker wasn't very organised before submitting your application more than anything.
It does sound odd though as Aldermore are quite straight forward.
There is no major backlog, new documents are taking about 48 hours to assess but I suspect they would instruct the valuation before getting the declaration form assuming they are happy with everything else.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ok, great. A valuation hasn't been mentioned to me either but I'm in Scotland and I think I read on here somewhere earlier that it comes as part of the home report in Scotland.0

I agree with David White.....because good organised broker would ask for all these document since the beginning....we are also waiting for our mortgage offer and it sounds that we have already submitted all documents that you have listed to the lender. We are getting worried as well, as we have to leave current property on 27th of May...Hopefully we will get an answer this week, as we are going for holidays on Friday....would prefer to know the outcome before that. We don't have any adverse credits, however still very worried, as we have only 5% deposit and it's new build.***Twins mummy***0
